Our Upper West Side Story
Neighbors Taking Care of Neighbors.
Strawberry Fields Canine Concierge grew from our longtime connection to the Upper West Side and decades of experience in neighborhood hospitality.
We are former owners of Dakota Bar and previously owned and operated two restaurants on Columbus Avenue between 72nd and 74th Streets. Today, we live approximately 50 steps from the Strawberry Fields entrance to Central Park.
For us, hospitality has always meant knowing people personally, anticipating what they need, and paying attention to the details. Strawberry Fields brings that same hands-on philosophy to caring for dogs.
“Where every dog is our neighbor.”

Meet Cody
Chief Neighborhood Dog.
Cody is the spirit behind Strawberry Fields: friendly, curious, very interested in neighborhood activity, and always ready for a Central Park outing.
This paragraph is meant for you to personalize in WordPress with Cody’s real story, favorite walk, favorite treat, or whatever makes him Cody.
Our Neighbors
Little Neighbors. Big Neighbors. Everybody in Between.

Frequently Asked Questions
Good Questions Are Welcome.
How many dogs are included in a group walk?
Group walks are intentionally limited to a maximum of four dogs and are matched for size, temperament, energy, and walking style.
Do you accept large dogs?
Yes. Large dogs are welcome, and small-group walking for larger dogs is one of our signature services, subject to a Meet & Greet and compatibility assessment.
Where do you walk the dogs?
Our home base is approximately 50 steps from the Strawberry Fields entrance at Central Park West and 72nd Street, making Central Park a natural part of our walking routine.
Where will my dog stay overnight?
Boarding is home-style and limited-capacity rather than kennel-style. Sleeping arrangements and routines are discussed during the Meet & Greet.
How many boarding dogs do you accept?
Boarding is intentionally limited. The exact number accepted at one time depends on the dogs already in our care and compatibility.
Can you administer medication?
Routine medication may be accommodated by prior arrangement. We will review the medication, schedule, and instructions before care begins.
Do you care for puppies and senior dogs?
Yes. Puppy and senior visits can be tailored for relief breaks, feeding, companionship, gentler pacing, and individual routines.
Can you pick up my dog or take my dog to the vet or groomer?
Yes. Pickup, drop-off, pet transportation, and vet or groomer escort services are available within our service area by arrangement.
What happens in bad weather?
Safety comes first. Walk duration and route may be adjusted for extreme heat, cold, storms, or unsafe park conditions, with indoor care or relief options discussed when appropriate.
Can my two dogs stay or walk together?
Usually, yes, subject to the service and the dogs’ needs. Same-household second-dog pricing is shown in the pricing section.
Do you offer recurring walks?
Yes. Recurring schedules are welcome and are subject to availability.
What neighborhoods do you serve?
Our focus is the Upper West Side, especially Central Park West, Lincoln Square, and the West 60s through West 80s.
